The deputy leader of the Pastef party in the Dangou Nord Rufisque district, Becaye Diouf, is in trouble. Summoned on the day of May 11, the trader who has experienced his first legal setbacks since his political involvement in 2018 was questioned by investigators from the Special Cybersecurity Division (Dsc).
Following his hearing, his police custody was extended for 48 hours. Becaye Diouf will spend the weekend in the premises of the Dsc. According to L’Observateur, which provides the information, the investigators are in the process of digging a track concerning him.
Diouf, who admitted to being members of several Whatsapp groups with political connotations, insisted, however, to specify, giving the names of the administrators, that he plays no specific role there. Except that of sharing political information but in a general framework.
Subjected to the rolling fire of questions from the sleuths, the Pastefien ended up making his mea culpa: “I did not know that sharing these types of publications was reprehensible. I regret my actions. Because I never intended to directly or indirectly attack natural or legal persons. I ask for the clemency of Justice. These acts will not happen once more.”
