Passion, perseverance, courage – Fanni Pigniczki prepares for the Olympics with her busiest year so far

For the time being, Fanni Pigniczki is not trying to deal with the Olympics, but is concentrating on improving step by step, from training to training, from competition to competition. The rhythmic gymnast with a quota from Paris said in M4 Sport’s Destination: Paris 2024 program that this does not mean that she does not think regarding the Olympics, the main goal is of course to perform as well as possible there, but if she was only concerned with that, then the little would not be able to move properly with steps.

The MTK Budapest athlete said that the current year is the busiest year of his career, there has never been a time when he was almost not at home for ten weekends. In the interview, he revealed that it was one of the best decisions of his life to start studying psychology in addition to competitive sports.

“I really like learning because I feel that it turns me off and gets me out of my everyday activities, and I feel that I’m always learning, experiencing something new that piques my interest” – He told.

He revealed that the framework of his exercises usually remains the same, but minor changes are made following almost every competition depending on how he managed to present himself in the competition situation, what the judges accepted and what they did not. “But we try to make as few changes as possible so that I can continue to present what I have practiced at competitions. We kept my hoop exercise from last year, so that exercise is a little easier for me. What has been the most difficult so far has been the mace and the ribbon, but I think they will soon come to fruition.” – revealed Fanni Pigniczki, adding that at the national championship in Törökbálint in April, the ball did not go well, there were two minor inaccuracies with the hoop, but according to her, the tape and the mace were her best exercises of the season.

“It’s a competitive sport and you have to beat others, but you don’t actually go once morest the other person personally, it depends on your own performance, how many you will be in the end, so I just try to focus on what my task is, what I have to do, and how much it will be followingwards whether it will be enough or what points I get is not really up to me” he summarized.
