In Großarl im Pongau, a tourist from Germany fell over a steep embankment on Tuesday morning and fell into the Ellmaubach. According to the police, the 57-year-old was swept away regarding 100 meters by the water masses. Courageous passers-by pulled the already motionless man out of the creek over a stone wall. He was successfully resuscitated and flown to the clinic in Schwarzach im Pongau in a rescue helicopter. The course of the accident is still being determined.
