Evergreen flew from Bangkok to Amsterdam yesterday followingnoon. Passengers were reported to be unwell during the flight. For the safety of passengers, the flight had to be diverted to Baku Airport in Azerbaijan. Because the visa information of Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that “the government of Azerbaijan is not friendly to me” and “it is recommended that Chinese people avoid transiting in Asia” and other information, the plane landed in Azerbaijan now, causing concern.

In this regard, EVA Air stated that the BR75 flight from Bangkok to Amsterdam yesterday (2) carried a total of 333 passengers. During the flight, a Danish passenger was unwell. The flight crew contacted the ground medical support team (MedLink) for assessment and recommended immediate medical attention. The captain then diverted the plane to Baku Airport in Azerbaijan to disembark the passenger and his companions for medical treatment.

EVA Air stated that the plane continued to fly to Amsterdam following refueling and water refueling at Baku Airport in Azerbaijan, and was delayed for a total of 4 hours and 23 minutes.
