A passenger plane belonging to the US airline Southwest Airlines was hit by a bullet before departure from Dallas on Friday evening (local time). “Southwest Airlines Flight 2494 was en route to Indianapolis when a bullet apparently struck the right side of the aircraft, just below the flight deck, as the crew prepared to take off,” the company said. The plane returned to the gate and was withdrawn from traffic.
No injuries were reported. The passengers left the plane safely, said Dallas Airport (US state of Texas).
