Passenger plane crashes in Brazil, 61 people dead

Nathalie Sicari, who lives near the crash site, told CNN Brazil that the crash was “terrible.”

“I went to the balcony and saw that the plane was spinning. Within seconds I realized that this was not a normal movement for an aircraft.’

In January 2023, another Yeti Airlines ATR 72 crashed in Nepal, killing all 72 people on board.

Nepali authorities attributed the incident to pilot error.
