Passenger Killed in Tragic Flémalle Crash, Driver Apprehended on Narcotics Charge

A woman died in a car crash in Flémalle (Liège province) on Monday night, according to the local firefighters and the Liège prosecutor’s office. The driver of the vehicle was found to be involved in selling drugs. The fatal incident occurred at around 2:20 am on Tuesday on Théodule Gonda Avenue, where the passenger in the car lost her life. Upon searching the vehicle, police found cannabis, a scale, and €120 in small bills. During his interrogation, the accused driver admitted to having been selling narcotics for a week and was referred to the Liège prosecutor’s office. The investigation is ongoing.
