The Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA) has registered a 46% increase in passenger flow at the El Salvador International Airport, so far in 2024, compared to the same period, but last year.
«The International Airport of El Salvador has maintained a high flow of arrival, departure and connection passengers since 2023. Likewise, passenger flight operations have a constant increase, which has been reflected since the first month. 2024,” stated the president of CEPA, Federico Anliker.
Until February 4, the air terminal reported 640,000 passengers between arrivals, departures and connections, taking into account that due to the presidential and legislative elections, a peak in entries to Salvadoran territory was reported.
