The national State will allocate some 760 million pesos for the printing of ballots for the 28 lists that will participate in Córdoba in the Paso elections on August 13.
“There are two types of financing. One is campaign financing, which is the contribution that is given fixed, which is set by the Ministry of the Interior for each of the groups and another is special financing, a contribution for the printing of ballots that can only be used for that”, explained the electoral secretary Guillermo Fernández.
“In the event that it is not spent, it should be returned. We have no intervention, it has nothing to do with justice. Only later, in an opportunity to render accounts of the financing parties, once the elections have concluded, ”he added in statements to Telefe News Cordoba.
Fernández assured that “the number of lists, not parties, is a bit surprising.” “The truth is that parties are more or less the same as before. Sometimes more parties were involved in an alliance. There have been 19 parties in an alliance, but what is surprising is the number of lists, ”he specified.
“Once an attempt was made to limit the contribution issue to each party and not to the list. at your chance an appeal that reached the Supreme Court of Justice that was granted, which is the Biondini case. From then on, the contribution for printing ballots was not only for the group but for each list in particular”, he concluded.
How what each list receives is calculated
The official figure that each list (and not each force or political alliance) should receive per ballot is $2.92 per section or category. According to the current electoral regulations for these elections, each list has to print a total of ballots that are equivalent to the district register. If $2.92 is multiplied by the 3,065,088 voters in the Córdoba district, it gives us a total of $8,950,056.96 for each section.
Of the total lists some will present candidates for four sections (president and vice, national deputies, Parlasur and regional Parlasur), others for two (national deputies and regional Parlasur) and others for only one section (deputies).
15 lists will present four sections (president and vice, national deputies, Parlasur and regional Parlasur). If we multiply 4 by $2.92 of each vote and by the 3,065,088 voters of Cordoba district it gives us a total of 35,800,227 pesos each.
Another 12 lists will present sections for national deputies and regional Parlasur to which $17,900,113 will each be credited, while a single list for the section of deputies will receive $8,950,056, according to what is published The voice.
Bearing in mind that there are regarding 85 sections adding up all the lists, if that number is multiplied by the entire register (3,065,088) and by 2.92, it gives us a total amount of $760,754,841.6.
Finally, if 85 sections are multiplied by the number of voters in the district, which is 3,065,088, it gives us a total of 260.532.480 tickets, if strictly what is established by law is printed.
