Abu Dhabi, October 26 / WAM / Mohammed bin Zayed University for the Humanities participated in the Frankfurt International Book Fair 2023, which concluded recently.
The university’s participation included organizing 9 scientific lectures presented by an elite group of university faculty members, in addition to participating in regarding 17 publications in Arabic and English, which included research theses, scientific books, and research in which the university participated in a number of local, regional, and international conferences, in addition to presenting the “Readings” magazine. The lectures included a number of topics, including the biography of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” peaceful coexistence between civilizations, renewal of religious thought, the status of women in Islam, great values, customs of Emirati society, and spreading a culture of tolerance and coexistence… What can young people To do, the future of religious pluralism, and the ethical approach to peace in the world… the model of the Document on Human Fraternity.
Dr. Najla Al-Naqbi, Vice Chancellor for the Academic Affairs Sector, confirmed that the university’s participation in the Frankfurt International Book Fair was distinguished, and contributed to enriching the activities of the fair, which is considered one of the important cultural events.
She said that the university is keen to participate in such events as it is a source of cultural, creative and literary radiation, and an important milestone in the country’s scientific and academic journey.
She added: “Mohammed bin Zayed University for the Humanities, through its participation in this cultural initiative, aimed to present its scientific theses and academic publications in various fields of humanities, in addition to an abundant knowledge collection from the stock of conferences it recently organized,” noting that an elite group of professors The university presented the juice of their thought and scientific, literary and philosophical knowledge through their participation in the lectures accompanying the exhibition and through the university’s platform.
