Maccabi Tel Aviv is expected to receive approximately five million euros from the Red Star Belgrade for Milson. In addition, the yellows will retain a percentage of a future sale, which is currently about 15 percent of the ticket and other bonuses that the Serbians will pay to the Israeli champion depending on the successes in Europe.
In total, Maccabi Tel Aviv will be able to earn a maximum amount of 5.5 million euros in the Milson deal, almost 8 times the amount it bought her for last summer.
The Angolan midfielder took off with Maccabi Tel Aviv to Romania and was in the lineup, even though the club already knew at the time that there was an offer from the Red Star in the amount of four million euros. The player’s agent conveyed a message that Milson wanted to move to Serbia, but the Yellows insisted on maximizing the deal as much as possible.
The leverage of Maccabi Tel’s pressure on the Red Star was the game against Stiava. If the Yellows had shared him, he could not have played with the Red Star in the playoff stage. Therefore, the pressure that was in the hotel in Romania surrounding the deal was great.
The Serbs picked up the offer, the player pressed to leave and that’s how the decision was made. Sources familiar with the details said that “Milson’s participation would have harmed all parties. On the one hand, the Serbs would have dropped him, on the other hand, the player would have played without desire and the club would have lost a huge offer for him.”

Now, it is estimated that by the beginning of next week, Milson will move to Serbia and sign with the new team. By the way, there is no chance that Maccabi Tel Aviv and Milson will meet in the playoff stage, since the Yellows are ranked all the way through the qualifying rounds.
From the point of view of the coach Jerko Laztic, there were quite a few doubts about Milson and the formation. The Serbian’s game plan included Milson, but on the day of the match he realized that he would not be able to share with him, so he put Henry Addo in the lineup.
It is important to note that another player who can play in this position is Yonatan Cohen, but he is also not in the professional programs and did not take off with his friends to Bucharest. Together with the other shortcomings in the squad and the fact that five players are with the Olympic team, the situation is far from optimal.
The new acquisition, Shagib Yehezkel, is expected to be in the squad as early as next week in Gomolin against Stiava. At the same time, the club intends to invest several million euros in an attempt to sign foreigners who will upgrade the team already in the near future, in the hope that the purchase that will arrive will be able to stand up to Aztec in the next European round, in the hope that it will be in the Champions League and not in the Europa League.
