The ND voted in favor of the bill on the Authority and in its entirety, while the Opposition parties voted against it.
The amendment of the Ministry of Environment and Energy with the provisions for the imposition of the special levy on natural gas power plants to subsidize household electricity tariffs for the month of August and for agricultural benefits in the special tariff “Gaia” was voted by the ND, PASOK- KINAL, Greek Solution and Spartans. The KKE and Niki voted against it, while SYRIZA, New Left and Pleussi Eleftherias were “present”.
The amendment of the Ministry of Finance to extend the deadline for submitting tax returns for 2023 and the provision that provides the possibility for municipalities to license projects that were built before 2011 so that, subsequently, it is legal to grant them to coastal businesses and beaches for simple use, voted by ND and Spartans. SYRIZA, KKE, Niki and Pleussi Eleftherias voted against it, while PASOK-KINAL, Hellenic Solution and New Left were in favor.
The parliamentary amendment submitted by New Left MPs Euclides Tsakalotos and Dimitris Tzanakopoulos, and accepted by the minister, and with which the EESYP will be obliged to submit its strategic plans, the annual report to the Parliament and the relevant Committee for discussion its actions, like any other element, was voted by ND, SYRIZA, PASOK, New Left and Spartans. KKE, Hellenic Solution and Niki voted against it, while Freedom Sailing was placed with “present”.
The Minister of National Economy and Finance Kostis Hatzidakis, earlier, concluding the discussion of the bill in the Plenary, reiterated that the Superfund is moving into a new era and opens a new page in our relations with the country’s lenders”.
