Parking in Brussels, Proximus rates… Everything that changes from May 1st

New parking plan for the City of Brussels

A new parking plan will come into force on May 1 on the territory of the City of Brussels. The main changes relate to the duration of the regulations applied until 9 p.m. – as in several neighboring municipalities – and no longer 6 p.m.; and at the rate of the increased resident card for the second household vehicle (110 euros instead of 50). This parking plan divides the territory into four parking zones: blue, green, gray and red. For people without a parking card, it will be paid for in the gray and green zones, but free and limited to 2 hours in the blue zone, on presentation of the parking disc, specifies the City of Brussels.

Proximus raises its prices once more

Proximus will further increase its prices on May 1, the telecom company announced in March. The company justifies this new price increase by higher costs for salaries and technological equipment. Proximus had already increased the prices of a series of packs in January. In May, the “Flex” and “Epic’ offers as well as the “Business Flex” packs will become more expensive, around 3 to 4 euros per month, i.e. increases of more than 6%.
