“Park visitors will be able to admire them in a few weeks”

This is happy news announced this Monday by Pairi Daiza. The animal park has indeed formalized three new residents: Hopi, Dakota and Apache. Three cougars who will now be able to discover a little more of the world.

Because these were not born this week. On the morning of June 6, park rangers discovered that Cheyenne, the mother, had given birth to three cubs in a sheltered area. A little over three months following their birth, the two males and the female, as well as the mother, are now ready to gradually explore the outside world.

For the past few days, side by side with their mother, the little ones have been familiarizing themselves with the sounds and smells of the park and can also meet their Cherokee father, in a protected way. For their safety, direct contact with their father will take place later. Visitors to Pairi Daiza will be able to admire Hopi, Dakota and Apache in a few weeks on their territory located in The Last Frontier.
