Park Kwang-soo, lead vocalist of Shin Shin-hyun’s band ‘The Man’, who sang ‘Beautiful River Mountain’, has passed away. 82 years old.

According to the music industry on the 9th, the deceased, a pioneer of Korean blues music, passed away the day before. The exact cause of death has not been revealed.

Born in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1940, the deceased entered music while working in a band club while at school.

He sang ‘Beautiful Gangsan’ in 1972 as the vocalist of the group ‘The Man’ formed by Shin Jung-hyun, a legend of Korean rock music. This song was sung by singer Lee Seon-hee in 1988 and became very popular.

Their first album, ‘Dry Leaves / Lady in the Rain’, released in 1973, was suspended for being sarcastic, and was sold for 1.6 million won on an online auction site.

In 2007, at the age of 67, the deceased, who continued to stand on stage, released his first solo album, ‘Park Kwang-soo 2007 Beautiful Days’.
