Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier confirmed today, Tuesday, that Argentine star Lionel Messi will return to his team’s training on the 2nd or 3rd of next January.
Messi was Won the World Cup title, “Qatar 2022”, with his country, Argentina, after defeating France in the final match, on penalties. Messi scored two goals in the match, andHe was awarded the best player in the World Cup.

Galtier said, in press statements: “Leo completed a great World Cup. After winning the title, he had to return to Argentina to celebrate it, and we decided that he would have a rest period until January 1.”
The French coach indicated that Messi was supposed to have, at the end of the World Cup, 13 or 14 days of rest and recovery, before returning to the stadiums again.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain will host the “Princes’ Park”, Strasbourg, in the 16th round of the French Football League, “League A”.
