A driver drove all night to bring his client, a businessman, in time for a meeting in Lausanne.
What was so important to discuss at this meeting? History does not say so… But it must have been crucial to justify such an expense report. A businessman living in Paris recently asked an Uber driver to take him from the French capital to Lausanne, 518 km further, reveals the “Dauphiné Libéré”. The first train, which left Paris at 6:15 a.m., made it possible to arrive in Lausanne 4:26 a.m. later, ie too late for the customer to arrive on time.
“I was called around 10 p.m. The client said to me: “Would you be available to go to Lausanne?” tells the driver to the French newspaper. He then drew up an estimate for his potential client, an estimate which amounted to … 3,800 euros. The invoice was created outside the application, and the two men left, one driving, the other dozing in the back, for a 7 hour drive. “I received a transfer from his company a few days later, I trusted him,” adds the man in the “Dauphine Libere».
