Paris City Hall reaches out to PSG

PSG on the verge of concretizing its interest in the Stade de France, the town hall of Paris is inclined to discuss the Parc des Princes.

On April 27, PSG will formalize its interest in the Stade de France by responding to the call for tenders for the acquisition of the Dionysian enclosure. An unfortunate trend for Paris and its Parc des Princes, which might in fact end up without a resident club. With all the burdens that this entails for the city and its inhabitants.

The mayor of the capital, Anne Hidalgo, is formally opposed to the sale of the Porte de Saint-Cloud vessel until now, underlining the excessively low proposal of the Qataris for the purchase of a tool which has also been maintained by them since a dozen years. However this Saturday with BFMTV, the Sports Assistant, Pierre Rabadan, says he is ready to renew the dialogue.

Solutions to propose to PSG?

« The discussions stopped following the extremely weak proposal that PSG had made on the purchase of the Parkhe explains. We have expressed the fact that we do not want to sell the Parc des Princes, but there are other solutions. We told PSG that we wanted to offer them these solutions, but for the moment, we have no feedback. ».

And to add: To date, the club does not respond to us. I hope that will change as soon as possible, so that we can present them with the solutions that we think are good for PSG to stay at the Parc des Princes, which is our common intention. » Pierre Rabadan insists by emphasizing « the necessary enlargement “of the Parc des Princes – a desire” shared by the town hall of Paris and the PSG.
