The tournament – which had its Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 26 and was held along the Seine River – will end on Sunday, August 11. That day, at 3 a.m., marathon runners Daiana Ocampo and Florencia Borelli will close the participation of Argentine sport in the 2024 Olympic Games.

Today, Saturday, July 27, at 8:15 am, men’s hockey will debut. In Group B, Argentina will face Australia in the first round of this discipline. At 9:30 am, after being eliminated in the quarterfinals against France, Argentina’s rugby 7s will play against New Zealand for the classification from 5th to 8th place. At 10 am, the Argentine soccer team will play against Iraq, after losing 2 to 1 against Morocco in the debut.
The day continues with men’s handball at 11 a.m. (vs. Norway). At 2 p.m., tennis players Máximo González and Andrés Molteni will face the Spanish team in men’s doubles. At 2:45 p.m., Argentina will play the United States in women’s hockey. The day closes at 4 p.m. with men’s volleyball: Argentina vs. the United States in Group C.
