After yesterday’s individual time trials, today at the Olympic Games in Paris it is time for the women’s mountain bike race. With Puck Pieterse at the start, there is a big chance of Dutch medal success.
“It is a special course, which is comparable in layout to other courses that have been created,” says Dutch national coach Gerben de Knegt. “Perhaps it is most similar to the course we had in Tokyo during the 2021 Olympic Games. The biggest difference is that there is now gravel almost everywhere.”
