Parents can now apply for 800 plus. These are the consequences of being late

In detail it looks like this:

When you get 800+

If the parent/guardian submits a correctly completed application with the required documents for the new benefit period from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025 by:

– from February 1 to April 30, 2024 – ZUS will consider the application and pay the benefit by June 30, 2024,

– from May 1 to May 31, 2024 – ZUS will consider the application and pay the benefit with compensation for June – until July 31, 2024,

– from June 1 to 30, 2024 – ZUS will consider the application and pay the benefit with compensation for June – until August 31, 2024,

– from July 1 to July 31, 2024 – ZUS will consider the application and pay the benefit with compensation only from July to September 30, 2024,

– from August 1 to August 31, 2024 – ZUS will consider the application and pay the benefit, with compensation only from August to October 31, 2024.

Only parents of newborn children do not have to worry about these dates. They always have three months from the date of the child’s birth to submit an application. If they do so, benefits will be determined from the month of the child’s birth.

How to apply for 800+?

There are several options, but in each case the application is submitted online. There is no point in visiting a ZUS branch because the application will not be accepted there.

To submit an application online, you can use the ZUS Electronic Services Platform, the mZUS smartphone application, electronic banking, and the Emp@tia portal.
