PARANORMASIGHT: THE SEVEN MYSTERIES OF HONJO – Square Enix announces new mystery adventure

Square Enix announces PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo , a haunted single-player supernatural mystery-adventure in a unique 2D visual novel style. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch on March 9th, 2023 and on PC via Steam on March 8th, 2023.

PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo Set in the Showa era (1926-89) in Honjo, in the Sumida district of Tokyo, it is a collection of chilling ghost stories centered around various protagonists who wield the “power of curses”. Players take on the roles of multiple cursed characters and investigate the mysteries of Honjo. During the day, players will explore the city’s mysterious areas, solving puzzles and discovering new clues that will help unravel the mysteries behind these seven deadly curses. At night they go hunting or are hunted by other cursed ones. In this supernatural trial, players must master their own powers while trying to figure out how not to fall victim to the powers of others.

Players travel through the underbelly of Honjo and can experience specific areas through atmospheric panoramic views of Sumida, which thanks to the support and cooperation of Sumida Tourism Board, local museum, tourism board and local community with surround camera in areas of the real world were recorded.

PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo will be available digitally March 9th, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and March 8th, 2023 via Steam for PC. Pre-orders are now open for Steam and February 20 for Nintendo Switch.
