Paraná Clube Bolsters Squad with Four New Signings
Paraná Clube has announced the signing of four athletes to bolster its roster for the upcoming 2025 Paraná Championship, returning to the elite division with a strategic eye on success. Among the new additions is right-back Daniel Guedes, 30, who boasts experience with teams such as Cruzeiro and Santos.
With the arrival of Daniel Guedes and three other athletes, Paraná Clube’s roster now encompasses ten signings for the new season. This follows the announcement of six other players joining the team earlier. This latest wave of additions includes midfielder Geilson, defender Alan Costa, and striker Leandro Pereira, who boasts title-winning experience as a Brazilian and Brazilian Cup champion with Palmeiras.
Daniel Guedes arrives in Paraná after a period of inactivity, having made eight appearances for Juventude, his last club, in 2023. His time with Cruzeiro was also relatively discreet, totaling seven matches played without goals scored back in 2020.
The athlete was initially revealed to the world by Santos in 2013, where he played 74 games, scoring one goal between 2013 and 2018. Following his time with Santos, Guedes also wore the jerseys for Goiás, Fortaleza, and Cuiabá prior to joining Paraná Clube
The team is set to make its season debut on January 11th (Saturday) at 4 pm (Brasília time) against Athletico-PR for the opening round of the State Championship.
