The two vehicles collided, causing the 65-year-old’s car to be thrown off the road and come to rest on the driver’s side. While the two drivers were able to free themselves from the accident vehicles, the passenger lost consciousness.
When she was rescued from the vehicle, she was in cardiac arrest and first responders immediately began resuscitating the woman. The arriving rescue workers from the Traiskirchen Samaritan Association and the Red Cross Landegg, together with the team from the rescue helicopter Christophorus 9 and the team from the emergency doctor’s vehicle from Baden, took over the resuscitation of the woman.
