Paraguayan products reach more than 20 new markets in the first half of the year

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The first half of 2024 closed with the conquest of 26 destinations for national manufacturing, such as beef, biodiesel, dried grains, wheat, rice, offal, among other products that entered more than new markets, for a value of more than USD 10 million, according to data from Rediex.

The Intelligence Directorate of the Investment and Export Network (Rediex) reported that, in the first half of the year, Paraguayan products managed to connect with more countries for distribution, reaching a value of USD 10.9 million.

It is worth mentioning that, although Paraguay already has a commercial relationship with these countries, such as Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Peru, among others, these aforementioned manufactures entered these markets for the first time in the first half of 2024.

In addition, the survey took into account the last seven years, plus the current year, in which there should not be records exceeding USD 50,000 in the total. However, Rediex indicated that the existence of exports prior to this observation period is not ruled out.
