Asunción, IP Agency.- The new edition of the ExpoCruz 2024 fair will take place in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz, from September 20 to 29, and the Paraguayan business sector is invited to participate, in order to increase commercial ties between Paraguay and Bolivia.
It was presented by the vice ministry of the Investment and Export Network (Rediex), of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and is organized by the Eastern Agricultural Chamber and the Chamber of Industry, Commerce, Services and Tourism of Santa Cruz.
Expo Santacruz 2024 is considered the most complete multi-sector fair in Latin America, with a stage where all the productive sectors of the country and the region converge in 10 days of opportunities, business and entertainment.
Javier Viveros, director of the Cabinet of the Investment and Export Network (Rediex), pointed out that from the Vice Ministry they are running a Paraguayan pavilion, aiming to increase the participation of domestic companies in this international fair.
“We believe that it is super important for all those businessmen who want to know that market, to start exporting to that region,” said Viveros. It is worth mentioning that the event serves to create alliances and strengthen international, commercial and social ties.
He highlighted that Rediex offers advantages and reimbursements for companies that want to participate in ExpoCruz, and that they have 22 places available, in addition to encouraging national companies to participate in this international fair.
Strengthen business ties
For his part, the executive director of the Bolivian-Paraguayan Binational Chamber of Commerce, Sergio León, indicated that this is one of the largest business events in Bolivia, so there are high expectations for this new edition.
He extended the invitation to Paraguayan authorities and businessmen from all sectors to participate in the expo, with the aim of strengthening commercial ties and finding strategic alliances that benefit both nations.
Regarding the ExpoCruz figures, he highlighted that historically the closing of businesses was between USD 800 to 900 million, so for this edition they hope to exceed that amount.
Beyond the figures, he pointed out that the fundamental thing for the Bolivian-Paraguayan Binational Chamber is to continue working together to seek business opportunities, showing the interest of Bolivian businessmen in investing in Paraguay.
“The most important thing for us is to continue walking together to try to seek strategic alliances between Bolivian and Paraguayan businessmen,” said León.
Another fair in the US
During the event, the Summer Fancy Food Show 2024 fair was also put up for consideration, which will take place from June 23 to 25, 2024, at the Javits Center in New York City.
Offering the latest and greatest in specialty foods and beverages, this show attracts thousands of diverse manufacturers, buyers, brokers, distributors and industry professionals from across the United States and the world over three days, with product discovery, fruitful networking and business opportunities, reported the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
