Asuncion, IP Agency.- A delegation made up of government and Itaipu authorities, headed by the Paraguayan general director, Justo Zacarías Irún, and the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Javier Giménez, are in South Korea to tour various technological centers specializing in automobiles and electromobility.

The visit to Korea is part of the project “Implementation of the TASK Paraguay Auto Parts Center and Pilot for the Diffusion of Electric Vehicles”, in order to learn about the experiences of the development of the automotive industry in the Asian nation and participate in the closing of the training of the second group of Paraguayan professionals.

On Monday, August 19, the national delegation visited the headquarters of the Korea Institute of Automotive Technology (Katech) in Cheonan, where they were able to appreciate the work carried out by this leading institution in promoting electric mobility, with more than 40 years of experience in the field.
