BILLING and payments are two crucial aspects of carrying out business transactions, but they often pose significant obstacles for many companies. Obstacles such as complicated manual processes, delays in payments, and the risk of administrative errors can have a major impact on a company’s cash flow and business growth.

Awareness of the importance of solutions that can simplify and speed up the management process invoice and business payments are increasing among startup leaders, as observed by Yosia Sugialam, CEO and Co-Founder Paper.id.

Founded in 2016, Paper.id is the largest B2B digital payment platform in Indonesia serving more than 100 thousand businesses, including J&T Cargo, Shipper, Kopi Kenangan, and others. Paper.id present as a solution that automates the billing, payment, and simple financial report creation and accounting processes.

Paper.id helps businesses in Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR), whether they are clients who want to issue bills to their clients or pay suppliers. By using Paper.idinvoice issuance process (Invoice) can be done digitally, as can the reconciliation process.

Users can also access dozens of payment methods, including payments via credit card and invoice-based funding which provides longer payment terms.

Paper.id also has several strategic partnerships, including collaboration co-brand with BRI (Bank Rakyat Indonesia) to launch PAPERCARD, which is the first Visa Platinum Business credit card in Indonesia. Apart from that, Paper.id also has partnerships with other banks such as UOB, Bank MNC, BNI, and JCB. Through various collaborations and innovations within the company he leads, Yosia Sugialam is determined to encourage overall business digitalization in Indonesia.

Due to his business journey, Josia Sugialam was selected as the 96th Endeavor Entrepreneur through the 98th International Selection Panel (ISP) which was held in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam on March 25-27 2024. This is recognition of Josia’s achievements and vision which are in line with with Endeavor’s global mission.

Josia said, “I am very happy and honored to be chosen as an Endeavor Entrepreneur. This is a new chapter in my entrepreneurial journey, and I hope to have a bigger impact on the industry and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia with Endeavor.”

Judging in the Endeavor International Selection Panel was carried out quite strictly through the presence of competent panelists from abroad, such as Christopher Schroeder (Venture Investor of Next Billion Ventures), Vu Lam (CEO of Katalon – Endeavor Entrepreneur and Endeavor Vietnam Board Member), Giang Pham (Co- Founder & CXO, Genetica – Endeavor Vietnam Board Member), Rob Coneybeer (Founder of Shasta Ventures), Oliver Rippel (Co-Founder & Partner of Asia Partners), and Joanna Rees (Executive Chairman of West Global – Endeavor Global Board Member).

Endeavor Entrepreneurs are selected based on strict criteria and their commitment to high-impact business growth. They must have a big vision, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to sharing knowledge and making contributions
positive towards society and fellow startup inventors to create an ecosystem startup who support each other.

Josia Sugialam himself was selected based on the agreement of the panelists and the jury team, with an emphasis on the impact produced by Paper.id in line with Endeavor’s mission to promote “High-Impact Entrepreneurship”.

With Josia Sugialam joining, up to now there have been 96 successful Endeavor Entrepreneurs created. Several founders who have become Endeavor Entrepreneurs include the founder and CEO of eFishery, Kopi Kenangan, Bobobox, Kitabisa.com, Paxel, Waresix, AwanTunai, Pinhome, Buttonscarves, and others.
