In the North there were also unexpected snowfalls. In the South, however, the sun gains ground. “An old proverb said ‘Don’t discover yourself in April'”: the latest speech by Paolo Sottocorona begins with these words, who in a video for the La7 news updated everyone on the weather forecast for the next few days.

“There was no mention of climate change, but it was clear. We had some hot days and so we discovered ourselves. Now the weather has pulled our ears”, explained the expert better. “Let’s take it easy. The temperatures have dropped a lot. We are below average and it doesn’t happen often these days. The point is that it won’t go away immediately”, he added. Should we take the umbrella back out, then? “It won’t go away immediately. For a few days and part of next week, keep a sweater or jacket nearby. It won’t feel like summer or even late spring. It will be cold”
