The case of Father Antonio, the priest of the Church of Greece, known for founding the NGO “Kivotos tou Kosmos”, continues with new developments coming to the surface. He himself was tried last April, for the most serious charges that want him to physically abuse the young inmates of his parish.
Specifically, the priest is accused of serious crimes against inmates who took part in the structures of Volos. Father Antonios, according to the testimonies, used “inhumane” methods of punishment on the recruits, in order to punish them for their sins. He also carries two other charges on his back. One concerns the financial issues of the NGO, and the other concerns complaints from two young boys who claim they were physically abused by the Priest. In none of the charges so far, the necessary heavy penalties have not been imposed, while seven of his former employees will rise in the romance with him. The defendant is a soulmate of the well-known singer, Panos Mouzourakis, who has stood by his side since the accusations against the priest came out and, as he claims, his opinion of him has not changed, and he will also testify in court.

So today, 26/09, Panos Mouzourakis was invited to take the stage and testify about the case of Father Antoniou in the courts of Evelpida. Before he entered the court, the cameras that were waiting for him outside the doors of the court, asked him if he would testify in favor, to which he answered, among other things, in the affirmative. In the testimony of Father Antoniou’s super, the well-known singer said the following: “When I met father Antonio I was going through some darkness in my belt, I had lost faith in life, people and myself. He treated me in a very cathartic way”
Answering a question about whether he would entrust his daughter to Father Antoniou from the defense side, he answered: “With my eyes closed.”
