At least three of the minors were unconscious during the six hours they have been trapped, the newspaper has collected. The News’.
Several Pakistani Army and Pakistani Air Force helicopters are taking part in the rescue operations, which are being complicated by strong winds caused by the aircraft and the possibility of the cable car falling off.
The acting Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwarul Haq Kakar, has indicated on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, that in the face of the “alarming” incident, he has ordered an inspection of all private cable cars in the country.
At least 150 students use the cable car every day to attend school due to the lack of roads in the area. In 2017, at least 11 people lost their lives following getting trapped on a chairlift in Murree, in Punjab province.
