Panama achieves historic qualification and knocks out the United States from its Copa América

Asuncion, IP Agency.-The Concacaf representative team made headlines in the first phase of Group C, securing their ticket to the next stage, beating the host United States and Bolivia on the way.

In their third appearance, they beat Bolivia 3-1, while Uruguay beat the local team 1-0, taking the lead in the group.

Group C has been decided and three of the four Copa America quarter-finals matches have been decided. All that remains is to wait for what is decided on Tuesday in Group D to know the final match-up.

Both Uruguay and Panama are waiting for their quarter-final opponent, who will come from Group D, where Colombia is currently in the lead and Brazil in second place, with six and four points, respectively.

Both teams will face each other on Tuesday. Costa Rica, which has one point and minimal chances of qualifying, and Paraguay, which has zero points and is eliminated, will also face each other.

For the moment, if this zone is not modified, the crossings would be Uruguay-Brazil and Colombia-Panama.
