Asuncion, IP Agency.- With the support of the National Secretariat of Sports (SND), the Paraguayan Gymnastics Federation promotes and provides training for the development and learning of Paraguayan athletes.
Reaffirming the commitment to the growth of men’s artistic gymnastics in the country, the National Gymnastics Pavilion is currently the venue for the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Camp organized by the parent entity of the discipline at the national level, with the support of the Latin American Gymnastics Union.
The training brings together talented gymnasts from all over the country and is led by Argentine instructor, FIG Brevet 3 Judge, Juan Carlos Pinto. He is an Olympic coach and national team coach and will lead the four days of training and education in the discipline.
The camp began this Wednesday with two schedules, from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00, offering a complete and rigorous structure for participants. This Saturday, the 3rd, it will conclude with general mobility activities, basic bar exercises, basic strength work in gymnastics, jumping, parallel bars and bar, ensuring that participants finish the camp with a comprehensive preparation.
The second day will take place this Thursday, and will include general mobility exercises, dynamic postural exercises and basic strength exercises in gymnastics. In addition, specific training will be carried out in vault, parallel bars, bar and flexibility, allowing the gymnasts to develop their skills on these key apparatus.
Tomorrow, Friday, the camp will focus on general mobility, body posture, methodological technique, basic floor exercises, basic strength work in gymnastics and flexibility. It will also include training on the floor, rings and arons.
