The new program of PAMI “Healthy Liver” promotes the prevention, early detection and control of liver diseases for retirees and affiliated pensioners to social work.
The agreement was signed with the authorities of the British Hospital, in Buenos Airessince it joined as a provider to the Hepatology Center so that members can be treated with a medical indication in this institution.
From PAMI noted that fatty liver disease affects 40% of adultsso from the social work they look for guarantee access to timely treatment for its affiliates.
This program also includes specialized care for patients with type 2 diabeteswhich represent the population with the highest prevalence of liver diseases.
