Tampa, Fla. (ots/PRNewswire) – Miguel Paludo, driver of the BRANDT Porsche and seven-time champion of the Porsche Cup Brasil, will drive a special race for the 70th anniversary of BRANDT Porsche ahead of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans near Le Mans, France. Paludo’s GT3 will sport the colors of long-term sponsor BRANDT.
BRANDT, a leading retailer of professional agricultural services and manufacturer of specialty agricultural input products, has sponsored Paludo in races as diverse as the NASCAR Truck Series, the Porsche Carrera Cup and the NASCAR Xfinity Series for years. After six years, Paludo returns to Le Mans when he competed as champion of the Carrera Cup Brasil.
“The Porsche Carrera Cup race cars only take part in the support race at Le Mans every three years,” explained Paludo show what this BRANDT team can achieve. As always, my goal is to get the BRANDT colors on the winning track.”
More than 70 racing cars will compete in the race for the Carrera Cup. The 45-minute race will be conducted at 10:45 a.m. local time on June 10, just prior to the start of the 100 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, billed as the most prestigious global motorsport event of 2023.
