Paldo collaborated with Samjin Foods to launch two new products using Paldo Bibimjang.

The new products are Paldo Bibim Makguksu and Paldo Bibim Mandu. All of them used Paldo Bibimjang as a new menu for summer.

Paldo Bibim Makguksu is bibim makguksu with the sweet and spicy taste of Paldo Bibimjang. It is characterized by adding cold broth over various vegetables and buckwheat noodles.

Paldo Bibim Mandu is a menu eaten with Yaki Mandu by mixing shredded vegetables and egg yolk with Paldo Bibimjang. Its characteristic is that the sweet and sour taste of Paldo Bibimjang harmonizes with the crispy texture of Yaki Mandu.

This collaboration menu will be sold for a limited time this summer. The promotion was aimed at the MZ generation, which has emerged as the main axis of the consumer market.

Two new summer menu items are △Samjin Eomukdang Yeoksam Main Branch (Seoul) △Sejong Boram Branch (Sejong) △Cheongju Hanaro Branch (Chungbuk) △Cheonan Buldang Branch (Chungnam) △Pyeongtaek Best One Branch (Gyeonggi) △Busan Seobu Intercity Bus Terminal Branch (Busan) ) △ can be found at Myongji International New Town (Busan).

‘Paldo Bibimjang’ was first released in September 2017. As an all-around sauce that goes well with any dish, it was officially commercialized in response to consumer demand to separately release the liquid soup of Paldo Bibimmyeon at the time.

In May of this year, it introduced ‘Paldo Bibimjang Signature Stick Type’, which contains bibimjang in a stick-type pouch, targeting campers.

With the recent increase in single-person households and the growth of the sauce market, the sales of ‘Paldo Bibimjang Signature’ also increased significantly. In the first year of release in 2019, the sales volume recorded regarding 470,000 units, and in 2021, regarding 960,000 units were sold, a growth of more than 103%.
