Palakkad: The BJP withdrew from the all party meeting convened in Palakkad in the wake of political assassinations. Minister K. The BJP delegates walked out of the meeting which started at Palakkad Collectorate under the chairmanship of Krishnankutty. The meeting started at 3.45 pm in the conference hall. After 15 minutes, the BJP delegates walked out of the meeting.
The BJP had termed the all-party meeting as a farce. The BJP leaders said they were not opposed to peace talks but the police action was not satisfactory.
The government did not call a peace meeting when RSS activist Sanjith was killed. Two are justice. Not all the accused in the Sanjith murder case have been arrested. The police are fully responsible for Srinivasan’s murder.
Police did not take any action despite knowing in advance that violence would ensue. The BJP leaders later told the media that not a single accused had been arrested in the Pattappakal murder.
