Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, said that a survey from the Political Indicators Institute which recorded that around 75% of Indonesians were satisfied with President Joko Widodo’s performance was proof of public trust.

In the survey, Political Indicators showed that 75 percent of Indonesian people were satisfied with President Joko Widodo’s performance as his term of office ended.

“This result reflects the public’s support and trust in President Jokowi’s leadership and the policies that have been implemented so far,” said Yusuf in a written message received today.

Yusuf appreciates and appreciates the survey results from Political Indicators which show that the level of public satisfaction with President Joko Widodo’s performance is still very high.

According to Yusuf, this high level of satisfaction is proof that the government’s hard efforts in various fields, from infrastructure, health, education, to handling the pandemic and economic recovery, have benefited the community.

On the other hand, the government is still faced with many challenges. Therefore, President Jokowi continues to encourage innovation and improvement in government administration.

The Head of State is always open to suggestions and input from all elements of society. “He is always open to input from all elements of society to improve the quality of life of Indonesian people,” said Yusuf.

On a previous occasion, Executive Director of Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi said the trend in satisfaction with Jokowi was decreasing. Based on this data, there was a decline in the Political Indicators survey in July 2024 at 82% and September 2024 at 75%.

This survey also shows that the majority of the public considers the condition of eradicating corruption in the current government to be poor. “Eradicating corruption is often considered bad/very bad,” explained Burhanuddin.

Based on the Political Indicator survey trend, the trend of the public assessing the eradication of corruption as bad tends to increase from 34% to 37.7%. Then those who rated the eradication of corruption as good fell from 29.4% to 26%. (Ant/P-2)
