Chairman of the Central Board of Film Censors, Arshad Munir, told Independent Urdu that all the members present at the time of censoring of the film ‘Luffinge’ unanimously decided that this film is not worthy of being shown in Pakistani cinemas. Can be done.’

‘This film uses very vulgar language, at several places, there are abusive phrases and dialogues, and at many places there are also sexual phrases, which are completely against decency and civility.’

He added that filmmakers have a right of appeal to the full board which they can exercise whenever they want.

On the other hand, the film’s director Abdul Khaliq Khan told Independent Urdu that he regretted the decision as there was nothing anti-state or anti-religious in his film.

‘This is fiction, a story we call a horror comedy, so from now on ban the writing and production of fiction in the country.’

He said that if there are abuses, then the beeper could have been used, the breasts could have been cut, why the ban? They could only give him an adult certificate.

He said that this is a ban on telling the story and if you want to do that, then censor the script of the film, it is absolutely inappropriate to do it after the shooting.
