According to Arab News, the purpose of the royal decree is to grant Saudi citizenship to individuals who have distinguished themselves in various fields of legal, medical, scientific, cultural, sports and technical expertise.

Financial news portal ‘Argam’ has published a list of people who got Saudi citizenship, including Dr. Mahmood Khan.

The foundation is the first non-profit organization to fund research through grants and invest in biotechnology to advance health science.

Mahmood Khan specializes in a particular field. He is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a reputed university and has more than 10 years of practical experience.

He has served as the chief scientific officer and head of global research and development at PepsiCo, managing academic programs such as the Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Nutrition Trials Unit at the Mayo Clinic.
