Pakistan Known for Fashion Designer Faraz Manan has been included in the annual Business of Fashion (BoF) 500 list that recognizes the most influential people in the global fashion industry.
The BoF 500 is compiled by Business of Fashion magazine, recognizing the work of experts in various sectors such as luxury brands, high street fashion, media, technology and sustainability.
According to Arab News Faraz Manan started his career as a fashion designer in 2003 and since then he has been one of the leading designers in the country under his eponymous brand ‘Faraz Manan’. Many famous Bollywood actresses like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sridevi, Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani have worn their dresses.

“So proud to be part of the BoF 500 list of people shaping the global fashion industry,” Mannan wrote on his Instagram profile on Friday.
BoF 500 said in a post on its website that Manan is one of the leading figures in the Pakistan fashion industry and is considered the ‘go-to’ personality for wedding and formal wear buyers in the wider South Asian region.
In 2015, Manan became one of the first South Asian designers to open a boutique in Dubai, and by 2024, his brand’s Instagram account had amassed over a million followers from around the world.
The appreciation of Manan’s work by the Bollywood elite has made his brand a cultural bridge between India and Pakistan, where cultural exchanges are rare due to political tensions between the two neighboring countries.
