Pakistan Women’s Team Announced for T20 World Cup, Who is the Captain – Sports

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the national women’s team for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Fatima Sana will lead the Pakistani squad in the World Cup, while the global event will be held in the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to 20.

The 22-year-old Fatima Sana, who led Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, has played 41 One Day Internationals and 40 T20 Internationals. She has previously led the Pakistan Emerging and Domestic teams.

Fatima Sana will replace 37-year-old all-rounder Nida Dar, who took over the captaincy of all three formats from Bisma Maruf.

Nida Dar is part of the current team, she has played 112 ODIs and 153 T20Is.

Pakistan have been placed in Group A of the T20 World Cup along with Australia, Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand while the schedule will be announced later.
