Pakistan Super League is difficult to play, not IPL; Pakistani star
Indian Premier League is the biggest money flowing tournament in the world. IPL is better than any cricket league in the world in terms of remuneration and stardom. IPL is also where the best players are exchanged.
After the launch of the Indian Premier League, similar leagues were launched in other countries as well. But none of them are as good as IPL.
Pakistan Super League, Caribbean Premier League, Lankan Premier League and Bangladesh Premier League are all tournaments inspired by IPL.
But now Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan has come out with the opinion that Pakistan Super League is better and more difficult to play than Indian Premier League.
“The IPL is there but if you ask any player in the world who has played the PCL at least once, he will say that the PCL is the toughest league to play in,” Rizwan said.
He also added that in the Pakistan Super League, many players including the best players are on the bench and it is so difficult to play in the PCL.
The IPL, which started in 2008, is entering its 16th season. But PSL starts in 2015.
Pakistani players were initially in the IPL, but following the Mumbai terror attack, the differences between the two countries escalated, and the Pakistani players were kicked out of the IPL.
Mohammad Rizwan is currently the captain of PCL club Multan Sultans. So far, the player has scored 1146 runs from 56 matches in the league.
