Pakistan Shaheens squad announced for ODI series against Bangladesh – Sports

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the 14-member Pakistan Shaheens squad for the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh A, with wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris leading the team.

The first match of the series between the two teams will be played on Monday, August 26, while the remaining 2 matches will be played on August 28 and 30. These three matches of 50 overs will be played at Islamabad Club.

Wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Haris has been retained as the captain of Pakistan Shaheens, he also recently led the team in Darwin tour of Pakistan Shaheens which played 2 ODIs of 50 overs and Top&T20 series.

It should be remembered that earlier 2 four-day matches have been played between Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A which were drawn.

It is difficult for many important players to get a place in the national team for the Test series against Bangladesh

The selectors have retained 12 players from this team in the squad against Bangladesh A. Apart from captain Mohammad Haris, the others who have been retained from the team that visited Darwin include Abdul Faseeh, Arafat Minhas, Faisal Akram, Haseebullah, Jahandad Khan, Muhammad Abbas Afridi, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Muhammad Imran Jr., Mubasar Khan, Umeer Bin Yusuf, and Usman Khan.

The other 2 players to be included in the squad are left-arm spinner Mehran Mumtaz and left-arm batsman Azan Owais.
