Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Azadi March against the newly elected government of Pakistan has been withdrawn. He announced the withdrawal of the strike after the march escalated into clashes.

He has warned that elections should be declared within six days or else he will return to Islamabad with a strike. The PTI chairman said that the whole country was with him on that day.

Imran Khan has also come out against the actions of the imported government. The PTI was criticized for conducting raids and other inspections to stop the march. At the same time, he thanked the Supreme Court for considering the matter, Pakistani media Dawn reported.

Meanwhile, during the march, violent followers set fire to the metro station. Thousands of people attended Imran Khan’s rally. The discussion turned violent as police tried to cross the barricades.

Imran Khan, who was ousted as Pakistan’s prime minister last April, has called on his followers to rally in Islamabad’s D-Chowk for a “peaceful” protest rally demanding fresh elections. The call for the protest came after the Supreme Court directed the authorities to hold a protest rally in the country’s capital and prevented them from arresting Imran Khan.
