The pilot project of this solar powered cart is currently being started on a trial basis, following the success of which the solar cart services will be started for more areas of Mirpur city.

This pilot project has been launched in collaboration with the local private sector investor Nauman Mushtaq and the district administration of Mirpur.

Regarding this project, Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Yasir Riaz said that ‘Mirpur is an overseas city, the government is trying its best to provide international facilities in this city and it also went towards public-private partnership. is going.’

According to him: ‘Its first step is the solar cart service, on the success of which this pilot project will be run in other cities and rural areas of Pakistani Kashmir.’

Nauman Mushtaq, who presented the basic idea of ​​this project, says that this transport is environment-friendly and very cheap compared to other transports and most importantly, it is completely free of ‘smoke’ due to major environmental pollution.
