Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe in the second T20I

In the second match of the three-match T20I series, Babar and Haider’s brilliant batting saw Pakistan easily defeat Zimbabwe by 8 wickets.

In the second T20 match played in Rawalpindi, the host Pakistan won the toss and decided to field first.

Zimbabwe’s innings: Brandon Taylor and Chebha Bha opened the innings for Zimbabwe which was disappointing and Taylor fell victim to Haris Rauf in the second over.

On behalf of Zimbabwe, Brill and Wesley Madhiwere were the only ones who could resist the Pakistani bowling and both played innings of 32 and 24 runs respectively. The host team scored 134 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted overs.

On behalf of Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Usman Qadir dismissed 3 players each.

Pakistan’s innings: In pursuit of Zimbabwe’s target of 135 runs, Fakhar Zaman and captain Babar Azam opened the innings for the green shirts, but Fakhar Zaman returned to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs.

Haider Ali and Babar Azam, who came in after that, played a responsible game and played a vital role in the victory of the team by scoring 100 runs in the second wicket partnership.

Babar and Haider scored half-centuries, but captain Babar Azam got out immediately after scoring half-centuries.

Pakistan easily achieved the target of 135 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the 15th over and thus defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets.

With this win, the Green Shirts took a decisive 0-2 lead in the 3-match series.

On behalf of Pakistan, Hyder Ali remained unbeaten by scoring 66 runs, while captain Babar Azam was outstanding by scoring 51 runs.
