Pakistan cricket team will visit South Africa in April 2021

The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that the national cricket team will tour South Africa in April 2021 for a 3-match ODI series.

The statement said that this series will be part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League

The PCB said that the series was scheduled to be held in September and October 2020 but was postponed due to severe concerns over the coronavirus in South Africa.

The statement said that Pakistan has now agreed to follow the Future Tour Program (FTP) which will be followed by a tour of Zimbabwe in which 2 Tests and 2 T20Is will be played.

PCB said that the detailed schedule of both the series will also be announced.

Keep in mind that due to the corona virus, cricket competitions around the world were affected, but in July, the West Indies visited England, after which the Pakistan team also went to England and once again the glory of cricket started to be restored.

The Zimbabwean team is in Pakistan for a series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches, after which the Pakistan team will leave for New Zealand.

The national team will travel to New Zealand in December and the two teams will play two Tests and three T20Is between December 18 and January 7.

In keeping with the coronavirus protocols ahead of the series, the national team will undergo a two-week quarantine after arriving in New Zealand in the last week of November.

The tour schedule has been finalized with T20 matches to be played in Auckland, Hamilton and Napier on December 18, 20 and 22.

The first Test between the two teams will be played in Maunganui on December 26, while the second Test match will be hosted by Christchurch from January 3.
