| Pak no-confidence motion: Ruling party MPs against Imran Khan

Islamabad: Ruling party MPs have raised the banner of revolt once morest Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s 24 MPs have announced that they will vote once morest the Prime Minister in a no-confidence motion tabled in the National Assembly.

Statistics show that Imran Khan’s no-confidence motion can not be overcome if the constituent parties give up.

Imran Khan came to power in 2018 with the support of 176 members in the 342-member National Assembly. However, Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party has 155 members. The fact that 24 MPs from his own party have voted in favor of the no-confidence motion indicates that Imran Khan is a threat to the government.

It is alleged that the ambassador provided the information to Imran Khan.

The PTI, led by Imran Khan, won the local elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Local media reported that the party’s defeat was a clear indication of a rift between the military leadership and the ruling party. ISI Indications are that the army’s dissatisfaction is due to issues including the delay in the appointment of the chief.
