In the last few hours, news was known that shocked all of Argentine rugby. Former La Plata Rugby Club player Pablo Sciarretta, 45, was found dead this Tuesday morning at the club’s facilities.

At the moment, La Plata Rugby Club has not issued any statement regarding the death of the club’s member and former player, who had his last professional presentations in 2018 before starting a journey as a coach.
Pablo had two children who participated in the minor categories of La Plata Rugby. In addition, he was in charge of the M-11 division, where one of his sons played. Last year, The Sciarretta family suffered a heavy loss: Marcos, the eldest of six siblings, died of coronavirus in the middle of the pandemic.
One of the first clubs to show solidarity following hearing the news of the death was the San Isidro Clubwho through his social networks said: “Deep sadness for Pablo. We accompany his family, his friends and all @laplatarugby in this moment of pain. RIP”. He also expressed his condolences Albatros Rugby Club.
